Our Team
Leigh Ramsey, LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and educator with over 20
years of experience supporting adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds. Originally from
Long Beach, California, Leigh began her career as a Special Education Teacher, where she
cultivated a deep appreciation for human resilience and individualized support. Her desire to help
others on a deeper emotional and psychological level led her to earn a Master’s degree in
Educational Counseling from the University of La Verne, with an emphasis in School and
Family-Based Counseling, followed by licensure as an LPCC.
Leigh is known for her ability to recognize potential in others—especially when they struggle to
see it in themselves. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and
evidence-based practices, including Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Attachment Theory. She helps clients
cultivate healthier thought patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and rediscover hope,
empowering them to create meaningful, lasting change and a more balanced, fulfilling life.
