Our Team

Brian Delshad is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara.
He is deeply trained in psychedelic therapy, with a focus on safe preparation and integration practices using Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). His approach blends traditional and body-based modalities, including attachment-focused EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the Hakomi method, a mindfulness-centered, somatic approach to healing.
Before founding Santa Barbara Therapy Collective, Brian worked as a therapist with the Family Trauma Healing Center in Solvang and New Beginnings Counseling Center, a nonprofit serving individuals, couples, and families in underserved communities.
He also facilitated groups for AHA!, an organization dedicated to social-emotional learning, peacebuilding, and connection among teenagers across Santa Barbara County.
Prior to moving to California in 2017, Brian lived in New York City, where he volunteered at a homeless youth shelter supporting the LGBTQ community.
